One of the main challenge in a budget vacation is "Walking for Miles". So, having a comfort shoes to roam the city in a great distance is a prerequisite and critical. As I personally prefer substance over style, so, a branded or stylish shoes is not my greatest importance to decide a pair of shoe. Instead, I pick for comfiness and durability. I bought 9 dollars slip-on flat loafer shoes and it has never let me down. The shoes has endured the wears and tears through out my journey without any apparent damage.
Where as, having branded/stylish shoes limit my mobility and it doesn't guarantee the comfiness or durability. Besides, branded shoes always comes with high prices which gives the disadvantage that I will worried if too much walking will ravage the shoes and hence diminish my pleasure in walking.
To get relief in discomfort walking, I will strongly recommend to get a pair of shoe insole to safeguard any coming sign of foot discomfort like blister or pain occur in arch, toe, heel or ball of foot.
